Orlando Ricci is the published author of "Victory's Fate" (2016) and "Diary of a Dying Man" (2017). Orlando continues to write and hopes to publish more in the future. For the past decade, he has also worked as an Actor and in various capacities within the film industry as well as a freelance writer and editor. Orlando previously spent a decade as an educator and a coach of multiple sports. Furthermore, Orlando has been a high school Wrestling official for over a decade where he has had the ability to officiate various high level competitions; including, various regional championships along with the North Carolina State Championships. However, in 2020, he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration through the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, which is an AACSB accredited program. After receiving his MBA, Orlando passed his Series 6 and 63 financial exams which he has utilized as a Financial Services Professional. 

 

         Orlando grew up in a suburb of Buffalo, NY prior to attending West Virginia University. While at WVU, he was a member of the Wrestling team, which earned two EWL Championships during his time along with him placing 6th at 165 in 2001. He also earned a Bachelor's Degree in English as well as a Master's Degree in Secondary Education while at WVU. Once Orlando graduated from WVU, he moved to Charlotte, NC where he still resides today. 

 

         As a writer and editor, Orlando has been afforded with the ability to work on a number of scripts, novels, articles, and websites. All of which has provided him with an opportunity to write his own scripts that he hopes one day have the possibility to be made into short and/or feature-length films.

         Since beginning his acting career, Orlando has been trained in tactical methods utilized by the police and the military, weapons, stage combat, and stunt driving. When combined those skills with his wrestling background, he's able to perform his own fight scenes for film. The skills Orlando has obtained, along with his ability to portray a variety of ethnicities has afforded him with an opportunity to be cast in a variety of roles. Additionally, in order to gain a better understanding of the film industry, Orlando has worked behind the scenes as a script editor, production assistant, assistant cameraman, fight coordinator, grip, boom operator, and in several other roles. 

         As an Actor, Orlando is best known for his appearance during the final season of "Eastbound and Down" (2013) and the Action Packed Short Film "Every Action" (2016). He's also worked as a Stand-In on the History Channel show "Six" (2017) for one of the lead characters, Walton Goggins. In 2017, he worked on "Mountain Top," "The Big Blind," "Education in Love," and "Obamaland Part 1: The Rise of The Trumpublikans." Additionally, Orlando has worked on a variety of commercials and industrial projects over the years.
